How to Make Moon Nectar
Ingredients (Makes 4 Servings)
- 1 tsp loose leaf (or 1 bag) – Passionflower
- 1 bag – Tulsi Sweet Rose Tea by Organic India
- 1-2oz Tart Cherry Juice
- Sparkling Mineral Water
- (Optional) Tincture or Whole Flower – Blue Lotus
- 16oz Mason Jar
- Serving Glass
Prepare Ahead of Time: Boil 2 cups of filtered water. Add passionflower and Tulsi Sweet Rose (plus optional blue lotus flower) in mason jar and cover with boiled water. Place lid over jar and allow to steep for 10 minutes.
Strain herbal infusion and refrigerate to cool.
Prepare 1 Hour Before Bed: In your serving glass, pour 4oz of chilled herbal infusion (from above). Add 1-2oz tart cherry juice. Fill with sparkling mineral water. (If using optional blue lotus tincture, add 1 dropper full at this time).
Stir clockwise as you set an intention for your night, picturing yourself sleeping very well. Garnish to your liking.
